Taalbubbl takes that very seriously. Taalbubbl hosts its own server and is developed as a EuroStack, to be fully compliant with the GDPR.

How is taalbubbl different from Duolingo or similar apps?▾

Studies have demonstrated the importance of connecting to the social fabric of your host community for long-term success in learning a new language. Duolingo may be a good start, but it strengthens the connection to your phone; taalbubbl connects you to people.

Will taalbubbl run on my old Nintendo DSi from 2008?▾

We don't officially support it but yes it does run! Taalbubbl is developed on the Dioxus framework, which is written in Rust. This means our app is so energy efficient that it will also run on your old hardware. If you're Gen Z, get your first internet device and give it a second life with Taalbubbl!
